Easter in Tofino
With the Easter long-weekend just around the corner, spring has found Tofino, and we have seen a few beautifully sunny days.
Easter weekend is usually a fun time here in Tofino with a few great events happening for kids and adults.
For kids: Annual EGGSTRAVAGANZA
The Tofino ‘eggstravaganza’ is a FREE family event organized by the District of Tofino. It is the perfect way to kick off the holiday weekend with an exciting and inclusive morning of egg-hunting fun. Kids of all ages are welcome and there is a special toddler area made for little ones under five. With chocolate being supplied by chocolate Tofino it means that the prizes are worth hunting for as you can grab some of the best chocolate Vancouver Island has to offer!
When: Saturday April 19th at 10am

Theater: The Great Bloom
For one day only there is a brand-new Canadian comedy by Sydney Marino about discovering the value we can add to the world, even, or especially, when our path looks different from others.
This fun production plays with scale featuring puppets, tactile props, performed by professional actors and is a great event for kids and adults.
Tickets are $15 for children and $25 for adults and can be bought online here or directly at the door. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Alternative rock concert: TAYOS & Transitional Alien
If chocolate hunting isn’t your type of thing, the Dirty Maq has a night full of alternative rock featuring two BC bands. Introducing Tayos, an energy fuelled rock band from Chilliwack and Transitional Alien, hailing from Victoria, they deliver gritty, hard rock that pays homage to the greats while also fusing jazz, blues and soul. The show is high energy with plenty of stage moves while hoping to make an emotional connection with the audience.
